Couldn’t miss a visit to Frys Electronics since I was visiting…
Belated St. Patrick’s Day Parade
The snow delayed last week’s parade… and while it did feel a bit odd having the parade almost in April, our town came out and enjoyed the festivities!
Open window
2 seconds too late to capture the cleaning crew lean through the open window to clean the copilot window (so he can get clear blips)…
I hope they seal the window before takeoff, since I’m not sure how that will fly
Wonky Wednesday
Took my blip and only after I got back did I find out about Wonky Wednesday, but it is wonky, so here goes!
Hot Cross Bun
Today’s blip was supposed to be the local St. Patrick’s Day parade, since I was pleased with last year’s results (https://www.polaroidblipfoto.com/entry/4114110 and https://www.facebook.com/lycerejo/media_set?set=a.10203315950488526.1073741832.1503307305&type=1&l=9a10753526
However, the parade was postponed by a week because of the snow lined streets, so hot cross bun to the rescue…
First Day Of Spring – NOT!
According to the calendar, today is the first day of spring. LegoGuy finds that hard to believe… someone tell Mother nature, please!
Unlimited Dosas
LegoGuy discovered that Thursdays are unlimited dosa nights at a nearby South Indian restaurant, with 24 different varieties being offered.
One of those, the Sweet Coconut Dosa also qualified as dessert, and reminded me of the Pancake Tuesday pancakes Mum used to make stuffed with sweetened coconut, raisins and nuts…
Blipfoto Forever
LegoGuy figured out a way to extend LegoGal’s arms sideways for today’s community blip
The road behind… the road ahead…
I was saddened by rumors today that Blipfoto is in trouble… but I was thrilled to discover more of the community that made Blipfoto what it was. A couple of blippers who are technical, generous, and selfless came up with ways to back up blips, and made life simple for the rest of us…
Before starting my new year’s resolution in Jan 2014, I was concerned about the service shutting down, along with all my memories. But it had quite a few years under its belt, a strong and loyal community, so I dived right in…
Epic Pi Day
LegoGuy quietly marks the epic Pi Day which we won’t see again in our lifetime. Once every 100 years, the date and time align (at least in the US) to depict 10 digits of Pi: 3.14.15 9:26:53
It also happens to be Einstein’s birth anniversary, and the next town, Princeton, has a big celebration each year (http://www.pidayprinceton.com/) to commemorate the day… with it being rainy today, LegoGuy will be missing out on the festivities…
