Chop it down
Had to trim the trees, and since I could only get to it after work, it was after sunset and getting dark. Must have been a sight brandishing an electric saw wildly outside the home.
A few branches were too thick for the electric saw and using an axe in the light today seemed more appropriate
Portrait time
Finally made an appointment and went to the portrait studio to have some family pictures taken – something I don’t do enough of… even as I take too many pictures of places and things…
Stork sighting
After a couple of weeks, saw the stork again… but it scared easier today
Diwali is over, but not the goodies
Lego does the hula hoop with a [i]chakli [/i], one of many goodies made to celebrate Diwali. Though Diwali ended yesterday, thankfully the goodies have not 🙂
Long way to the top
Lego guy is the smallest at the kiddie birthday party, making it difficult for him to stick the Velcro tag to even the lowest level!
Traffic backup
Another 140 mile roundtrip commute made worse by merging traffice on I-95. TGIF! What should have taken an hour and a quarter, doubled thanks to these few miles
The solar eclipse that was eclipsed
Today’s solar eclipse was eclipsed by the rainy weather, cloud cover, and scheduled sunset for our area just 15 mins after the start of the eclipse
