Community festival today…

… and Lego was surprised to see others like him there… however, some were strapped to a motorized Ferris wheel… and there were these tiny people (translation: kids) building all sort of other motorized Lego torture devices…

… first time here, but was not going international. But it just felt like I was going someplace. In the midst of a busy workweek, that was a pleasant mind shift… for all of 3 seconds

Murphy wins over stale smoke!

The hotel room I was originally assigned had the stench of stale smoke (“all non-smoking rooms”), and the only other room had a [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murphy_bed]Murphy Bed[/url].

As the ferris wheel in Six Flags rocked to a slow stop at the top, Lego took the opportunity to shoot scarier rides – taller and faster, like Kingda Ka,and the new drop of doom (still under construction)… His height may be an issue trying to get on that ride when it finally launches…

Home bound writing

Missed out on a picnic and tea with friends… because of a writing deadline… Computer and coffee… And writing still not complete 🙁

Almost midnight moonpie cookies

When you have to bake for others or an event, it’s safest to do so after the little ones have gone to bed. Usually that means you don’t end up with the batch half eaten ;)… But the way Lego is eyeing these, I’m not so sure…
